Scion is a sport compact car which is manufactured by the part of Toyota. Scion was  brought into market in the year 2003 in California, the main purpose of launching Scion marque by Toyota is to sell the economy class cars. Scion was first introduced at the New York Auto Show in 2002 with two concept models 'bbX and ccX' focusing youth as a target.  Initially Scion models were available only in California in 105 Toyota dealerships. Later in 2004, their models were slowly moved into the nationwide market. Scion did not yield much success in the market which resulted in drop of sales and hence it was forced to wind-up in 2016.
